What you’ll learn

  • We’ll cover the basics of needle-felting, including how to use a variety of tools, different types of wool, and the possibilities of creating with wool!

  • You’ll learn how to blend colors, create sharp lines, and add fine details.

  • You’ll finish your felted artwork by framing it in the provided hoop. Take it home, hang it up, and admire your work!

FAQs

  • Nope! I will provide all the tools and supplies for use during our workshop!

  • Everyone’s artwork will turn out differently! I find beauty in the process and each final piece will have its own unique charm. I will guide you step-by-step and you’ll feel confident throughout our time together!

  • Our workshop will last 2 - 2.5 hours, and most people finish their piece in that time. I will also demonstrate how to frame your work in the provided 4” hoop!

  • I’ve taught students aged 8 to 80! We will be using very sharp needles, and fine motor skills are necessary. Please use your judgment as to the ability of your young artist. Younger folks will need adult assistance during our workshop, and every person in attendance needs to register.

  • I’ve been teaching needle-felting workshops for six years. I love to gather and share this fun and unique process of creating art with fluffy wool!
